I found this on an eFriend's blog and was rather amazed by the results... Footprint Quiz. I really thought I'd do better than I did, but I'm not even convinced that my family should count as 'people who ride in the car with me.' It's misleading, I think. I don't carpool and where I go, they go - irrelevant. So... I suspect a higher number is more accurate. -sigh-  |

Well my total footprint was 22!
I drive alot, I wash a helluva lot of clothes and dishes and we're meat eaters! lol
Maybe I'll take it again when I get rid of all the free-loaders...

All the freeloaders, ha! Doing fine, madam. Wrapping up spring break, preparing for the kiddos to head back to school... picking out a piece of green clothing in advance... I really, really dislike being pinched. Forget celebrating St. Patrick's day... it's a matter of protection! Still tootling around on my rugged mountain side, doing what I can to minimize my consumption... things are going swimmingly. I hope all is well with you and yours, especially the doted on Prince. :)

we eat meat about 2 or 3 times a week, i hardly go anywhere and when i do mostly the "aunt" takes me... we live in an apartment hooked onto another one..lol we do have water and power..lol

Ohhh the prince! I tell ya, this grandparenting thing is sh*t!! heh Lately we call him 'Ben Winkler' from the commercial about the 'real' cabbage kid... not sure if you've seen it or not but the prince aka Ben looks exactly like a cabbage patch kid sans yarn hair! lol He is the best natured baby, he just smiles all the time hence his edibility factor-- is edibility a word? lol We're just getting ready for Spring Break here, the youngest step son is headed to Tx on Friday to visit his mother the rest of us will just hang around here.

I haven't seen the commercial, but I can appreciate the cabbage patch kid ref. Too cute! Edibility is definitely a recognized word, as is edibleness. Take your pick! ;)

Google 'Ben Winkler' and it's the first link I think, a you tube of the commercial--Geico commercial, naturally! heh If I hadn't had car insurance with State Farm for like forever I'd change to Geico for the commercials alone, LOL.

Still, you did great on the food, shelter and goods/services. Well, in comparison to me, but man, even as well as you did - two planets! It's a sad tale...

i dont think it would be much different for her either, she eats a little bit more meat than i do (i really dont eat any, other than the occasional salmon filet every now and then) .. we don't have a car, or really any need for one.. the apartment is on the top floor so heating costs nothing.. actually, we've had the windows wide open all winter so far.
