Oh, what could that kitty be a' thinking..
12.30.06 (11:54 am)   [edit]

To say that we're kitty proud is an understatement.

After sorting through literally thousands of pictures we've taken in the last few weeks, we've reached two conclusions.

1) We clearly take too many pictures of our cats.

2) We're going to continue to take too many pictures of our cats.

So, without further gilding the lily, here are a few top picks..

Adderbury (left) and Piddle (right) sitting in a basket that was once part of a 'Thunderdome' constructed for their wandering pleasure. Clearly, it no longer fills that capacity for them..

Piddle and Adderbury share everything..

They're very close..

Snuggly good.

Really, really close!

still snugglier!

Katie Colum is my 17 year old British Tortoise Shell. She is from England and I've had her for 14 of her 17 years. She doesn't consider herself much of a Piddle and Adderbury fan. Imagine it from her end.. she managed to outlive her younger counterparts and got the whole place (and her owner) to herself for close to a year. She loved it. Then came.. the little infiltrators. Now, suddenly, she was having to share everything and she wasn't happy about it. She's adjusting, but reluctantly. While Piddle's laid back demeanor has allowed them to come to some kind of understanding and tolerance for each other, Adderbury is a whole different story. Here are Katie and Piddle co-existing.. sort of..

Katie and Piddle.

More on Katie Colum shortly.. back to Piddle..

Piddle likes his comforts..

Piddle being tolerant of me.

He generally does what he wants, when he wants and where ever he wants..

Piddle, hanging out in the middle of the floor.

He's pretty much got the run of the place.. here he is, hanging out in the cat tower we're building that isn't finished yet. We're not worrying about him taking to the thing.. it's already happened..

Piddle in the unfinished cat tower.

This picture captures Piddle doing what he does best:

Begging. Endlessly.

Begging for food.

I've tried to figure out what Piddle's thinking in this one.. there is definitely something going through his mind.. more than likely he's just being patient while I'm in his face with the camera.. any thoughts?

Fill in the caption of your choosing!

My two favorite pictures I've saved for last.. back to the idea of Piddle doing what he wants when and where he wants to and.. his relationship with Katie..

Piddle and Katie..

And my absolute favorite, captured just two nights ago..

Stop bragging!

Do I really need to add anything to this one? Heh..

More Piddle, I say.

It's amazing, what a few months will do for a little guy.

This is Piddle in August.

Little Piddle

With a little milk, a lot of food and plenty of romping with (now little) sis, Adderbury, behold.. the bowl's getting smaller..

Big Piddle

More big Piddle

Dude is huge.
